Randolph County Government is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employs individuals based on merit principles.  Specific requirements including pre-employment drug testing, fitness requirements, education and experience minimums, etc. are stated on the vacancy announcements.  Employment applications are available at the Randolph County Personnel Office.  Applications for all positions are accepted in the Personnel Office in Asheboro, in person, or by mail, at any time. However, applications must be submitted on or before the closing date if a closing date for an advertised job vacancy is included in the announcement. Upon request, appropriate and reasonable accommodations will be made to assist disabled job applicants to take any Randolph County employment/performance or written test.

Randolph County only accepts applications for positions that are currently vacant.  If you are interested in a specific type of position that is not now vacant, please contact us by completing an Employment Interest Form.  We will then contact you when the type of position you are interested in becomes available.  The completed form will remain on file until the position(s) indicated become vacant or three months from the date the form is received.

The form must be printed, completed, signed, and mailed to the Randolph County Personnel Office at the address below.  You may print a copy of the Employment Interest Form using your browser and printer.
