September 22 UOCAVA Absentee ballots ready for Election 
October 12  Last day to register, change party affiliation or change address. The voter registration form must be postmarked by or hand-delivered by 5 p.m. on this date.

*Individuals who miss the registration deadline may register in person and then vote at one-stop voting sites during the one-stop absentee voting period (October 18-November 3). In order to register during a one-stop period, the applicant must show acceptable proof of name and residence in the county.
October 18 One-stop early voting begins for the General Election at the Board of Elections Office and at additional one-stop sites.  Locations and schedule
October 30 Last day to request absentee ballots in writing (exceptions due to sickness or disability).  Details...
November 3 One-stop early voting ends at 1 p.m.
November 5 All voted absentee ballots must be received in the Board of Elections office by 5 p.m. to be counted on Election Day.

If mailed, returned absentee ballots will still be timely if postmarked on or before Election Day, and received no later than 5:00 pm on November 9, 2012.
November 5 Deadline to request absentee ballots for sickness/disability is 5 p.m.
November 6 ELECTION DAY – Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.
